A new update for Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, known as Update 1.05, has recently been released. This update is accessible across all gaming platforms, as well as on PC. Players can now download this update, which introduces bug fixes, improvement updates, and patch notes for the game. It is worth noting that the file size of this update may differ depending on the gaming platform being used.
Main Changes:
- Freeroam Expeditions Unlocked: Players can now access freeroam expeditions after completing the first expedition in a region.
- Compass Addition: A compass has been added to the HUD, with the option to toggle it on or off in the Settings.
- Map Improvements: The Map now displays rewards and requirements for side quests.
- Region Selection Window Redesign: The information content of the Region selection window has been increased for better clarity.
- Expedition List: Expeditions are now sorted from newest to completed, and blocked expeditions are highlighted.
- Skip Minigames: Players now have the option to skip minigames.
Achievements:
- Lost Progress Restoration: Progress for achievements such as Anchor Management, Frankentruck, and others were lost on PlayStation 4 and 5 but partially saved on other platforms.
- Partial Restoration: Progress for certain achievements was partially restored on all platforms.
- Unaffected Achievements: Some achievements, like First Love and Management Approves, were not affected.
Gameplay:
- Camera Slider Sensitivity: Slider sensitivity in the Camera minigame has been reworked.
- Codex Updates: New articles have been added to the Codex regarding expedition preparations.
- Tutorial Fixes: Various fixes in the Tutorial, including hint activation and stability improvements.
- Gameplay Improvements: Fixes for freeze issues, repair mechanics, and metal detector functionality.
UI:
- QR Code Support: PROS window now supports QR codes for easier access.
- Button Text Overlap: L2 and R2 buttons no longer overlap text in the PROS window.
- Truck Selection: Improved focus on truck icons and customization availability.
- Resource Panel Control: The resources panel in the Garage can now be controlled via mouse clicks.
- Expedition Completion: Expeditions are marked as completed on the Map upon finishing all stages.
- Brightness Setting: Brightness value now remains consistent after restarting the game.
Trucks:
- Texture Fixes: Bolts removed from Cotco’s canisters, physics improvements for cargo sideboards, and collision fixes on various trucks.
Localization:
- Text Fixes: Technical text corrections and localization-related bug fixes have been implemented.
Sounds:
- Sound Additions: Metal detector activation sound and Drone exit sound have been added for better immersion.
