Karim Hafez Mustafa Benzema was born in the French city of Lyon on December 19, 1987. He holds French nationality and is of Algerian origins. He grew up in Lyon and is now 34 years old.

Benzema moved from the French club Lyon in the 2009-2010 season to the Spanish club Real Madrid. This marked the beginning of his journey to stardom. During his career, he has been crowned the top scorer in the French League once and won the French League four times.
Achievements
Karim Benzema won the Ballon d’Or award for the best player in the world in 2022 from France Football, beating out 92 candidates. He was also crowned the best French professional for the 2021-2022 season and won several other prestigious awards such as the “Pecce” award in the Spanish League and the Golden Shoe award in the Champions League.
