Good Doctor Season 6 Release date?
The sixth season will officially be released on October 3, 2022. New episodes air during the 10 pm ET/PT time slot.
The first episode of the sixth season, titled “Afterparty,” will pick up right where the last episode of the fifth season left off.

Shaun and Lea’s long-awaited wedding is cut short by a horrible attack at the hospital. The whole team must work together to save the victims, and Shaun is affected in many ways by the trauma of seeing people he cares about in life-threatening situations.
The Good Doctor Season 6 Plot?
The official summary for the series is:
Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, has worked hard to show his colleagues that his extraordinary medical skills will save lives. In season 5, Shaun faces more uncertainty as he plans his wedding, and a significant change comes to St. Bonaventure. As they continue dealing with life-and-death situations, the rest of the team must also deal with the complicated changes in their relationships.
Shaun and Lea got married in the season 5 finale. Still, the season ended with a major cliffhanger: Villanueva’s abusive ex-boyfriend attacked Dalisay Villanueva and Dr. Audrey Lim. They were both stabbed and lying on the floor as the season ended. One of the most important early questions for season 6 is what will happen to these two long-time series regulars.

How to watch The Good Doctor
The Good Doctor airs on ABC, which is available on all traditional cable subscriptions and live TV streaming services like FuboTV and Hulu with Live TV and YouTube TV. Fans can catch up with the latest episodes on-demand on Hulu or, if they subscribe to a service with ABC, ABC.com; both options also include past seasons of the medical drama.
Why isn’t The Good Doctor on Netflix US?
Netflix has picked up a few ABC shows in the past ten years, but The Good Doctor hasn’t been one of them and won’t be in the future.
In the U.S., ABC is owned by Disney, which has a stake in Hulu, where most of its shows are put by default unless a different deal can be made.
In The Good Doctor’s case, no deal has been made, so Hulu is still the only subscription service that has the show right now.
The show could be licensed in the long run, but Disney/ABC has only done that in recent years with free streaming services like IMDbTV. It is thought that Disney-ABC has the only domestic rights to the series. This is different from the international rights to the series.
