Update For Elden Ring Colosseum DLC

The Elden Ring Colosseum DLC is officially here! Here you can read all of the patch notes for Version 1.08.

Major new features

  • Now available are the Colosseums of Leyndell, Caelid, and Limgrave.

Players can participate in combat trials in these arenas, including one-on-one duels, team fights with up to six players, free-for-all battles, and unique battles with spirit summoning enabled.

  • For character creation, new hairdos have been added. The Round Table Hold Clouded Mirror Stand can also be used to access these during the character edition.

PvP-exclusive balance adjustments

The modifications in this section have no impact on solo or cooperative play.

  • Reduced damage from counterattacks by thrusting weapons.
  • Reduced guard effectiveness for some weapon types when using your shield while attacking.
  • Weapons with the following poise damage have decreased (Weapon Arts poise damage has not changed):
  • Straight Swords / Thrusting Swords / Heavy Thrusting Swords / Curved Swords / Axes / Spears / Twinblade Swords / Katanas
  • Reduced the Incantation of Bestial Sling’s poise damage.
  • Reduced the spell Carian Slicer’s power.

General balance adjustments

Increased some attacks’ speed and range while shortening their recovery times with the following weapons:

  • Daggers / Axes / Hammers / Flails (dual-wielded)
  • Increased some attacks while shortening recovery times for the following weapons:
  • Twinblade (two-handed) / Reaper / Fist / Claw
  • Colossal Swords’ rolling and crouching attacks have had their speed slightly increased.
  • Increased the guard counters on axes’ stagger damage.
  • Increased poise when using two-handed hammers to attack.
  • Claws’ poise damage has increased. Weapon Arts stay the same.
  • Increased poise value while the Stamp (Upward Cut / Sweep) Weapon Art is in use.
  • Reduced the poise damage of the magic wave while increasing the poise damage of the weapon-slashed portion of the Transient Moonlight Weapon Art.
  • Thrusting Swords and Heavy Thrusting Swords crouching attacks now move more slowly.
  • Reduced the stagger brought on by jumping attacks with two-handed Heavy Thrusting Swords.
  • Hammers, Great Hammers, and some Colossal Weapons now deal less poise damage. Weapon Arts stay the same.
  • Reduced the Cragblade Weapon Art’s poise damage.
  • Flaming Strike Weapon Art’s flame portion’s hitbox duration has been reduced.
  • Reduced Flame of the Redman’s Weapon Art poise damage.
  • Reduced the duration of the Shield Bash Weapon Art’s guard phase.
  • Reduced the Gravity Bolt Weapon Art’s poise damage.

Bug Fixes

  • A bug that occasionally prevented consumables from being replenished when teleporting to grace from the map has been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug where stamina would refuel when moving from running to a crouching position.
  • Fixed a bug where input actions for spells, incantations, and items were disregarded while defending against attacks.
  • Corrections were made to some Serpent-Hunter weapon attacks with incorrect physical attack values.
  • A flaw that prevented the follow-up attack from happening when the Black Sword Incantation was triggered while a Sacred Seal was held in the left hand has been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug where, occasionally, the attack power of the right-hand weapon was applied when casting the Inescapable Frenzy Incantation with a two-handed Sacred Seal in the left hand.
  • Fixed a bug where casting spells and incantations while jumping could result in multiple damages.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented certain weapon and weapon art combinations from using Weapon Arts correctly.
