Week 15 of Fantasy TE Rankings: Jack Doyle, Tyler Habieb tending in the opposite direction

The weekly fantasy Week 15 rankings of TE must weigh a lot of significant injuries (Greg Olsen, Evan Engram, Noah Fant, Ryan Griffin, Mark Andrews, Jared Cook, Gerald Everett) and at least some surprises at the end of the season.

Take Jack Doyle and Tyler Higbee. Here’s what we thought was going to happen last week: Higbee will retire after enjoying a favorable Cardinals matchup in Week 13 and Doyle will continue to shine in a fantastic match against Tampa Bay. Here’s what really happened: Doyle hit and Higbee exceeded 100 meters for the second week.

WEEK 15 RATING NON REPORTS:
Quarterback | Running back Wide receiver D / ST | Kicker

The Rams showed us earlier in the season that a tight end could be productive in their offense (Gerald Everett), so maybe it’s not as weird as Higbee’s feel. It’s a boundary fantasy starting with a defense of average tight end defense, Dallas, in Week 15. Eric Ebron fantasy owners know that the Colts didn’t make a ton of tight ends at the start of the season, so it may not be as surprising that Doyle broke a week after the championship. This week, Higbee is slightly above Doyle, but they are in quite a few places.

If you don’t own Higbee or Doyle, this may be good for you as you avoid potential headaches this week. There are many injuries with tight ends to keep your mind whistled, though. Olsen could come back from a concussion or he could stay out and make Ian Thomas a marginal start once again. Evan Engram (knee) could come back or let Kaden Smith thrive against the dolphins. Andrews (knee / thigh), Vance McDonald (concussion), Cook (concussion) and Griffin (ankle) were injured Sunday and Andrews and Griffin play Thursday in Week 15, generating strong numbers for Ravens backup Hayden Hurst , if nothing else.

Hopefully you just sit well with a tight end at the top this week, but if you’re not, Hurst and Thomas are two of our favorite streams if their respective starters are inactive. This only applies if David Djuku is already the owner. If available, pick it up before the matchup with Arizona and reap the rewards.

Note:These ratings will be updated throughout the week, so check back one last time.
